Cautions: Biotin causes inaccurate results in several blood tests. Stop taking your biotin supplement at least 3 days before any of these blood tests. If this is not possible, it is essential to inform your doctor that you have been taking Biotin. 

  • Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs): Biotin interference can cause inaccurately high test results for levels of thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) and falsely low levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). This means it can hide a thyroid deficiency in blood tests. 
  • Troponin Tests: Biotin interference may affect troponin tests used to diagnose heart attacks by causing falsely elevated results.
  • Hormone Tests (e.g., FSH, LH): Tests measuring hormones like follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) may be affected by biotin supplementation.
  • Vitamin D Tests: Some assays for vitamin D measurement use biotinylated antibodies, potentially leading to inaccurate results.

    Seeing improvements already

    This product is already working for me. My nails used to bend they were so soft. After a few months of using Marine Collagen my nails are already a lot firmer. My hair is no longer thinning. It is still fine but it is not getting g any worse. I am hopeful that in time it will improve more. The other reason I like this product is the added vitamins etc I especially appreciate the iodine that is included. I think we most of us need more of this.

    Skin and body pick up in a capsule.

    I’d noticed a real deterioration in my skin and nails over the past year. I’ve started taking two capsules a day and have noticed a slight improvement, am hoping as I keep taking these the improvements increase further.

    Capsules are on the large size but it’s worth it knowing they are quick to digest and be absorbed.

    Using biotin

    Biotin really helps my nails and hair grow,,I’ve tried other brands of hair,nails and skin vitamins and found that when I use biotin,collagen ,omega and b vitamins have doubled the growth of my hair and nails and my skin problems have definitely lessened,these are my nails before and after a couple months of using biotin
